Consumers now expect instant issuance solutions including instant card issuance if their cards are lost or are stolen, while expecting a bank of-the-future banking experience, not just a transactional visit.

MagneFlex Prism - D998200198

MagneFlex Prism is a suite of interface developer tools that reduce the points of development. Instead of using SDKs, APIs, and applets to build an interface to the hardware device, another to interface to the POS application, and another to the gateway, you can build the interface to just MagneFlex. MagneFlex drives the hardware, interfaces with the POS app, and can issue the commands to pack, parse and send the data out for processing. Whether you are on a network client system or using a web-based app, there is a MagneFlex tool for you. This simplifies development and certification and allows you to determine the best ecosystem for each individual environment.

What is the sunset date for DynaPro and DynaPro mini?
Sunset is April 30, 2021. We cannot ship any new PCI orders (even to existing customers) after April 30, 2021. We can only repair/replace field units after this date.

Burroughs Payment Usb Devices Driver Download

What is the latest order date for DynaPro and DynaPro mini?
  • Final NEW ORDER Date is Friday, March 12, 2021:
  • Orders must be placed by March 12, 2021 in order to ship by the April 30 date. MagTek will make every effort to fulfill orders, but greater lead-times may be necessary to accommodate larger orders.
What does the Sunset Date mean for my devices in the field?
  • Devices in the field still meet PCI PTS 3.x stringent security requirements. Devices in the field can be repaired and replaced (including PIN injection and remote services including remote key injection and device configuration). The goal is to allow merchants to slowly update their devices to newer security settings as they have new locations and new needs.
  • You never lose PCI compliance/certification for existing installations. The certification period only limits the time the device can be sold for new solutions as a PCI certified PIN device.
What is the replacement device for DynaPro and DynaPro mini after the sunset date for new locations?
  • DynaPro Go is the next generation in MagTek PIN acceptance devices and it is available now. DynaPro Go accepts PIN, magnetic stripe, EMV Chip, and Contactless transactions. Connection is available via USB, Bluetooth LE, or 802.11 wireless technology.
  • Start your development efforts today and make certain you are ready to go with your new locations after the April 30, 2021 deadline.

How to clean MagTek hardware?
  • As part of the preventative actions for the Coronoavirus, it is important to clean equipment and surfaces. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces and objects at least once daily. It is important to properly clean and disinfect your MagTek device.
  • CLEANING THE EXTERIOR OF DEVICE
  • Below are suggestions to ensure proper cleaning of the EXTERIOR of your MagTek device and to help keep you and your customers safe. This includes cleaning and then disinfecting the device.
  • Clean the exterior of the device by removing any contaminants, dust, or debris using a soft, lint-free cloth. To clean your device, the lint-free cloth should be slightly dampened using a mild soap and water solution.
  • Follow with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining/excess moisture.
  • Using a new soft, slightly dampened, lint-free cloth or wipe, disinfect all surfaces with a surface-appropriate disinfectant. We recommend using disinfecting wipes and/ or isopropyl alcohol wipes in concentrations between 70 and 90% percent. The higher the concentration the faster the cleaner will evaporate, which is better for protecting electronics.
  • Allow the device to dry completely.
  • CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
  • Avoid using too much liquid while wiping.
  • DO NOT use liquid cleaning products or insert any other objects into the device.
  • Allowing liquid to get into the device’s internal electronics can cause irreparable damage and void the warranty.
  • Avoid damaging the read head, only clean the card path with approved cleaning cards.
  • DO NOT spray any cleaners directly onto your device.
  • Please reach out to support@magtek.com if you need additional assistance.
  • You can also download and link to the cleaning instructions here: https://www.magtek.com/content/documentationfiles/d998200389.pdf

16 Jun Troubleshoot Touch Display

Cleaning:

Locate dirt, debris, residue, or blots/drops of anything that looks like it may fool the system into thinking a touch is being issued there. It is surprising how sensitive these overlays can be, and they have to be, for the most optimum performance. So, to begin troubleshooting any touch issues, start by using a soft cloth and some 70% isopropyl alcohol to really wipe the screen down. Inspect the inner LCD bezel for debris. Use a can of duster-air and/or folded piece of paper for the tight places. Next, inspect the screen for scratches, pits or dents. All of the above will produce results, such as, misaligned touch, or a cursor that is constantly retracting back to the same position.

Cable Connection (monitors only):

Burroughs Payment Usb Devices Driver Update

(Touch Monitors Only) First, if using a touch monitor, start by resetting the USB cable on both, the computer, and touch monitor ends, and use a different USB port on the PC end. If all USB ports are currently utilized, try swapping with another simple device, such as, a keyboard, mouse, memory stick etc. Avoid swapping with a printer, as this may produce printing problems.

Calibration:

Burroughs Payment Usb Devices Drivers

If using a Touch PC or Touch Monitor, let’s start with Calibration. Head to your Start Menu, select All Programs and locate the Touch Kit (XTS/XPC product line) or Touch Utility (EVO product line) folder, and locate your calibration option to begin. Depending on your product line, you will find this under Tools or Devices.

Installation:

If your touch is not responding at all, let’s insure the drivers are correctly installed. Navigate to you Start Menu > right-click on Computer > Manage > Device Manager > and expand the, Mice and other pointing devices category. Do you see a UTCRS232, URTC1000, or IdeaComentry? If so, do you see it listed with a yellow exclamation, or question mark? If no entry is found here, do you see it listed under the category Other Devices? If you see an entry and it is marked with a yellow icon, try the following:

Right-click on the device > Update Driver > Browse My Computer > navigate to the C:/Program Files > Touch Utility / IdeaCom folder

Burroughs Payment Usb Devices Driver Downloads

If no entry is found, we need to insure the USB touch controller cable from the monitor, is directly plugged into the computer and not through a USB splitter / Hub.
